Community Service Opportunities

There are several community service opportunities coming up this month. First we have the Food Bank drive that the Community Pride Project is hosting. They are accepting all non perishable donations at any foods, rabbit, sign language, and general meetings in the month of December. And also at the January general meeting.

Next up is the Christmas Family. The family we have chosen this year is a single mom with 3 kids. The club only spends $100 on Christmas dinner. The club also spends $30 on gifts for each family member. If you want to donate any non perishable food items or gifts for any family member, please bring them to the December General meeting or to the drop-off/shopping meeting. The kids ages, genders, and likes are to follow:

*13 year old boy~ size 14 boys pants, men's medium shirts, men's 8 shoes. Likes pokemon, nerf action figures, Magic the gathering(cards), and Japanese animations.

>11 year old girl~ size 14 pants, 14 shirts, women's 7 shoes. Likes sock monkeys, art supplies, books, board games.

>7 year old boy~ size 8 pants, size 8 shirts, size 13, shoes. Likes paw patrol, paper airplanes, minions, legos.

Finally, we have been invited again to help at the New Life Church in Phelan. At this event, we help build and serve pantry boxes for those in need. For more information, please see the December newsletter or attend the December general meeting.
